E'sPsychedelicBreakfast This is quite an interesting mix of electronic music combined with atmospheric psychedelia. Who could've known that Techno beats and spacey jamming can sound so great together? Favorite track: Bears Wandering Into Milky Chapel.

John Cratchley Another Daniel O'Sullivan project...they come thick and fast (he is almost becoming ubiquitous)...Culled from long jam sessions, the pieces have quite a loose feel but not quite the "comatosed hypnosis" that the record label would suggest (steady guys!)...at times, the music has a more 'cut up' feel to it...like the soundtrack to a lost Dziga Vertov documentary...yet, it is brimming with fevered ideas that aurally blindside.

about

"the Fur engage themselves in an accomplished and also very English take on Krautrock. Their hypnotic grooves seem to be complemented and to some extent grounded by sentimental evocations of England’s rural as well as its industrial past. Imagine Faust or Can having a jam whilst lost somewhere in the Pennines on a damp, grey day just as their Kendal mint cake kicks in." - drownedinsound.com/releases/16407/reviews/4143300

Borne from a day long improvisation in deep dark south London... A smattering of Fins and Englishmen chatter, chant and chime as rail lines whistle and hashclouds billow. Swamped cavernous modes unravel into vistas of blissed kraut mantra and stilted metal drifts.

Months pass, O'Sullivan and Uusimaki quietly trundle through the wreckage with a fine tooth comb assembling the hairy monolith. Scene changes and juxtapositions are magnified, temporal dream states fall deeper into comatosed hypnosis. O’Sullivan and Tucker’s deep psyche vocal duets fly above bubbling hippopotamus pools and humming electric temples. Lehtisalo barks the Viking lament from sonic Helheim.

'Furrier' basks in astral shade.
